Mt. Aconcagua is the highest mountain in the Andes (6962 masl), and it´s located completely on Argentinian territory. Its summit is the highest point in the Southern Hemisphere and the highest outside the Himalayas. Thousands of mountaineers and tourists visit it each year, either to try to conquer its summit or to enjoy its stunning beauty.

We will also give you the chance to take a walk on the trails of the Aconcagua Provincial Park, visit the Horcones lagoon, and get the best views of Aconcagua´s South Face.

This Trekking is intended for those who are not content with just a short visit to the Aconcagua Provincial Park. We will give you the opportunity to get closer to the mountain as you never did before; you will be walking the same path the expeditions do, will experience walking in high altitudes, and will get to Confluencia Base camp!

TRAVESIA ACONCAGUA

Few have the privilege of witnessing such a spectacle: the mythical south face of Aconcagua. An imposing wall of 3000 m. high, where huge glaciers and rocks will leave breathless even the most experienced climber.This 3 days trekking, with medium difficulty, will let us get closer than ever before to the highest mountain in the Americas!! We will hike through Aconcagua’s trails and sleep two nights in “Confluencia” Base Camp, route of many of the expeditions who seek to conquer the summit. We will also make our way to “Plaza Francia” (4200 MASL), and get the best view of the huge South Face.
