What is an outdoor training?
The outdoor training is a design of qualification (or instruction)that
results from a combination between the traditional formation, made
exclusively for a company (in Company), with the exercise outside
the company and a experiential methodology based on the learning through
the direct experience, in a relaxed climate, where activities that
combine sports, fun and working teams. This is obtained approaching
those aspects that are crucial for the Organizational Behavior and
the Management of Human Resources.
The differentiating element of this methodology is the personal realization
outside the comfort of the offices, where a series of abilities and
behaviors, that would be very useful in their daily jobs, are harnessed
(or increased, developed, favored)
The pedagogical methodology Outdoor is an absolutely suitable mean
to learn from the real practice and experience. It is a shared experience
that implies the group work in non-conventional activities and that
requires a high degree of interdependence between the participants,
which generates a fast construction of interpersonal confidence.
Kahuak´s outdoor training consists of a series of activities
and exercises developed in the heart of the Mendocinian Mountain that
increases the impact of learning in groups and individually. This
was thought and developed specifically to obtain the objective of
qualification. The outdoor training can be done starting from the
team experiences that generates respect and mutual support. This kind
of training allows the transition from the learning process to the
job, very difficult to obtain by means of other pedagogical formats.
It has been scientifically proved that we learn 20% of what we listen
to, 50% of what we see and the 80% of what we do. For this reason,
our outdoor’s training makes an progress in the learning process.
Similar to traditional formats, our outdoors trainings are never standardized,
since the necessities and personal characteristics of each group and
organization are taken into account in its design. In order to do
this, we count with the experience of ACROS
MANAGEMENT, specialists in organizational services, and training
and development of human resources. |

Results of the outdoor methodology as a
training tool
Once the training has begun, the participants get involved
in the living activities, considering that the level of exigency of
the activity is adapted to the team.
Among the results of an experience of outdoor training, you can find
the following:
- To increase team work, to make the team members cooperate and complement
each other.
- To stimulate the self-confidence and to develop a clear spirit of
group
work that makes possible the team confidence and cooperation
- Motivation to face the daily commitments and to confront them in
a positive way.
- To foment the communication
and integration
between areas and members of an organization.
- To increase personal leadership and the capacity to lead people.
- To increase the resistance to stress.
- To increase and to develop the decision making, especially under
pressure. |

Outdoor Methodology
Physical exercises. Its level of difficulty is adapted to
the capacities and physical challenges of each team. The evaluation
of each exercise wiil be done through feedback, that will be given
at the end of the activities. The evaluations are usually very deep,
because we count on reduced groups that have a tutor with the possibility
of watching their spontaneous behavior. This gives us the possibility
of an individual analysis of each participant and even the opportunity
of making them see their reactions in order to make up for them.
Personal evaluation: The trainings generally
require a diagnostic evaluation that, depending on the type of outdoor,
can be done before, during or before and during the training process.
Formal training: All our programs of outdoor
training include an indoor activity, since it is in the classroom
where the participants arrive at conclusions that will help them reconstruct
their behaviors inside their daily work at the company. It is this
phase of outdoor training, the one that really gives the knowledge
to the students. Exes of Outdoor Training
