Lagarde 1897

Lagarde Winery
Lagarde is a traditional winery that preserves its original framework since 1987, year of its foundation.
As you go round the winery, its centenarian vineyards, its patios and the old house make you feel embraced by an ambience of ancient times.
Besides preserving its identity and culture, Lagarde invests in the state-of-the-art technology in order to guarantee excellent quality wines.

The winery’s total capacity is 1.600.000lts, of which 35% are stored in stainless- steel tanks and 65% in small and medium concrete pools coated with epoxy paint. The temperature in tanks and pools is controlled by a central system that allows a correct elaboration and conservation of the wines.
Lagarde owns 800 oak casks (85% French oak, 15% American oak), which are renewed every 3 years. Long-in-mouth wines only use new French oak casks.

Carmelo Patti Winery
The Carmelo Patti’s wines are wines of worship, with fans all over the world. Its wines are exclusively Argentinean:  On them you have the taste and experience of an enologist with more than 30 years of work. Carmelo Patti is the first "boutique winery" set up in Mendoza and one of the best wineries making "Author’s Wine". All its vineyards are from Luján de Cuyo city, where he produces Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grapes.

He also elaborates millions of sparkling-wine bottles with the traditional method (méthode champenois) using Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. He defines his wines as “a classic style, with nothing to hide”. He looks for equalization between wine and good taste. All the casks he uses are made of French oak.

Alta Vista Winery
ALTA VISTA’s philosophy is focused on the search for both high-quality and pleasure in the international market. Its wines express the Argentine Terroirs and the result of the French-Argentine cultural mixture.

It produces 2,500,000 premium level bottles and it is located in the centre of Chacras de Coria, in the south of the city of Mendoza.

This historical winery, which has elaborated wines for a century, is equipped with advanced technology. However, since its spirit is that of restoration rather than reconstruction, its original architecture has been kept.
Both the employment of the latest technology and the creation of ad hoc tools are integrated in the winemaking processes, according to the technical equipment’s needs.
Fifty-two epoxy-coated, concrete tanks with capacity for 110 hectolitres of wine, and sixteen mini-tanks with capacity for 52 hectolitres of wine allow to monitor the red grapes lots, thus favoring precise vinifications and creative blends. At the same time, 29 modern stainless steel tanks with an average capacity for 140 hectolitres of wine are used for the elaboration of white and young wines.
Underground cellars offer coolness, humidity, and darkness to 1,000 French and American oak barrels in Mendoza’s desert climate. We invite you to visit this winery in its daily tourist itinerary, including a visit to the vineyards and an exclusive wines’ tasting.

Bodega Altavista

Bodega Andeluna

Andeluna Winery

Located on the foot of the Andes, Andeluna Cellar is a remarkably beautiful place. Visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding areas, and dine on the deliciously authentic Argentine cuisine prepared in restaurant-style kitchens and served in elegant dining facilities. They can also pay a visit to four different tasting areas. A walk through the property, with the magnificent Andes in the background, is the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of the winery and vineyards, accompanied by Argentina’s finest wines. Visitors can taste several of the wines from Andeluna Cellar, especially the Winemaker’s Malbec Selection and Malbec Reserve, made from Argentina’s signature grape, as well as other varietals such as the classic Cabernet Sauvignon, the ample Merlot, the fresh Chardonnay, the aromatic Torrontes, the Limited Reserve Cabernet Franc, and the exclusive Grand Reserve Bordeaux-style blend, Pasionado.
When visiting the Andeluna Cellar winery, you will be absorbed by both the tradition of the old world and the excitement of the new one. Argentina’s romance and passion are evident not only in the wines, but also in the winery where they are elaborated.

Carina E grows its own grapes from vineyards located in Mendoza’s first zone, in the traditional High Area of the Mendoza River.
Its wines are elaborated in the Philippe and Brigitte´s Winery (an old winery which has been reconstructed) in Cruz de Piedra.

• Carina E’s 80-year-old productive 11-hectar vineyard lies on the winery’s property located in Tres Esquinas in Cruz de Piedra, Maipú, including 7.5 ha of Malbec, 0.5 ha of Syrah, and 3 ha of Cabernet-Sauvignon grapes.

• It also owns 7.5 hectares grown with 85-year-old Malbec vineyards at Cobos Street in Perdriel, Luján de Cuyo.

This “Boutique” winery has a vat capacity for 260,000 liters of wine. All vats, made up of concrete and coated with epoxy, have been made from old repaired vats. They have been placed in a new building. There is also a wine cellar, at present containing 25,000 litres of French oak casks, equipped with all the technology needed for the elaboration of high-quality wines. The entire winemaking process, from management of the vineyards to bottling, is supervised by Michel Rolland’s team, via Enorolland, his consultant firm.

Finca Decero Winery
This winery is named “Decero” (meaning “From Zero”) because it was built on a desolate land by a family with a long tradition in winemaking. In the seventies, Adda, Thomas Schmidheiny’s mother, founded a small family winery inspired on the Napa vineyards. Twenty years later, Thomas, who was in a journey from Chile throughout the Andes, fell in love with Mendoza and started to build a modern and full-equipped winery inspired in his passion for winemaking. It was the valley of Agrelo, known for its high-quality red wine production, that Thomas instinctively choose to continue his family’s legacy and elaborate wines which expressed his true origin.

Ruca Malen Winery
Ruca Malen’s dream began in 1998 when Jean Pierre Thibaud and Jacques Louis de Montalembert discovered, in one of their meetings, that they shared the same dream: To set up their own winery in Mendoza, paradise of any winemaker at the footl of the Andes Range. By that time, Jean Pierre had left the chairmanship of Bodega Chandon in Argentina, after 10 years of service; and Jacques Louis had forged ahead an outstanding career in the winemaking industry in his hometown, Burgundy.
From then on, Ruca Malen Winery would be exclusively focused on making wines of excellence, based on their knowledge and above all on  their passion for winemaking. Some time after that meeting, Ruca Malen elaborated its first batch: The 1999 vintage.
Since its conception, Ruca Malen’s enologists have committed themselves to preserve their wines’ quality, making stylish distinctive wines.
