Itinerary
Day 1
We will leave Mendoza City, take the international route Nº 7 through the Andes Range, and arrive in Horcones. From there we will take the path that will lead us to the Horcones Lake. After trekking for an hour, we will reach the suspension bridge over Horcones River. Then we will head for the Quebrada del Durazno, where we will rest and admire the landscape.
After going deep into the Park for 2 or 3 hours, we will arrive at Confluencia camp to have our lunch. After getting acquainted with the mountaineering world and some of its costumes, we will go back to Horcones.

Itinerary
Day 1
Time frame: 4-hour Trekking.
The arrangement to get the permission for the entrance fee to the Aconcagua National Park will be in charge of the guides. The passengers must be present with their passports on hands. Then, we will leave Mendoza City, take the international route Nº 7 through the Andes Range, and arrive in Horcones. From there we will take the path that will lead us to the Horcones Lagune. After trekking for an hour, we will reach the suspension bridge over Horcones River. Then we will head for a stream called Quebrada del Durazno; where we will have lunch, rest, and admire the landscape.
After going deep into the Park for 2 or 3 hours, we will arrive at Confluencia camp. Our assistants will be waiting for us with fresh beverages and some fruits. After putting our things up in the Domo tent, we will go on a little hike to know the surroundings before getting ready for the dinner.
Day 2
Time frame: 8-hour Trekking.
We will have an early breakfast in the Domo and then go to Plaza Francia. In this stretch, the path will take us along the low Horcones River and later to the glacier that feeds the river. Spectacular landscapes will drive us to discover the immense natural amphitheatre of the South Face. We will see a vertical rockface of 3,000 meters, snow, and hanging glaciers that from time to time surprise the visitors with an occasional avalanche. We will have lunch at a place called The Viewpoint, which is a natural platform with the best view of the Aconcagua´s South face, and we will also listen to the climbers’ exciting stories, who have tried to conquer it.
After a rest, the team will go back to Confluencia. Our assistants will give us some snacks while we enjoy the late afternoon and get ready for a good dinner.
Day 3
Time frame: 3-hour Trekking
When we finish preparing our things, we will have breakfast and go back down to Horcones. If the weather allows, and the whole team agrees; we will stop at the thermal baths located in Puente de Inca. Then we will continue to Mendoza City, arriving late in the afternoon.

Time frame: 8-hour Trekking
We will have an early breakfast in the Domo tent and go to Plaza de Mulas. We will have to take a long and tiring path. We will encounter the first obstacle in Playa Ancha, a large windy beach of loose soil and tiny stones. Surrounded by an amazing landscape, we will be able to observe mounts at an altitude of 5,000 metres.
We will have lunch at a place called Ibañez, halfway through. After having a rest, the team will get ready for the final stage. At this point, it is worth mentioning the very well-known Cuesta Brava, the previous way before arriving at the mysterious world called Plaza de Mulas. Exhausted we will get ready for having a good dinner.
Day 4
Time frame: To be arranged
We will spend this day resting and admiring the huge Aconcagua Mount located in front of us because we had already achieved our goal at this point!
We will also enjoy the unforgettable scenario of Plaza de Mulas surrounded by mountains, glaciers, tents of different sizes and colors, the hotel, and so on. In that place we will be able to know the most important figures within the mountaineering world. Likewise, it will be also possible to have access to the internet, e-mails, public phones, among other services.
Those who are really well-trained will be able to go on a special trekking; whose purpose is to reconnoiter the area of the highest hotel in the world, among other options. The rest of the people will be able to rest and get their strength back in order to set off on the return journey.
Day 5
Time frame: 6 hours
We will prepare everything to leave. Then we will have breakfast and after that we will begin our return journey down the valley to Horcones on a trekking where anecdotes, memories, and unforgettable landscapes will be brought to our minds. We will have lunch halfway through, in Horcones, where we will meet with the transport that will take us to Mendoza City in a nonstop trip. Once we arrive in Mendoza, you will have the chance to take a relaxing hot shower.
